Ketevan (Keti) Phkhaladze
Hello everyone! Welcome to Georgia for the 48th International Chemistry Olympiad! My name is Keti Pkhaladze.I am a 3rd year student of Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia, faculty of Medicine, planning my future career as a ‘Lady-surgeon’ (as impressive as possible). Science is what makes us uni(que)ted, I guess. As a medical student, I can only enjoy my ‘free time’ while sleeping several hours a day, but it doesn’t mean I miss any opportunities to be actively involved in various projects and innovations. So what i can say about my hobbies: I truely believe, that even a surgeon (or mostly a surgeon?) needs art in her life : painting and literature – actually I have some plans to open my own art salon one day. ‘The best or nothing’ – that’s how I (want to) live – trying to devote all of my energy to do things in a best way I can. As a young person, I am eager to experience different cultures, discover new directions and challenge myself, to take every step of mine with some passion, some compassion, because ‘we only live once’. It is my great pleasure and honor to be a guide of your team in order to show georgian hospitality and our genuine friendliness and to become a new friend of you. I promise you to make your stay here memorable and rewarding one. Come and try your best in this competition, use your ‘Chemical Wisdom’. See you at the Olympiad in Tbilisi.
